Business
It has been said that work is a rubber ball – if we drop it, it just comes bouncing right back at us. So it seems there’s no getting away from it. But that doesn’t mean that we can’t enjoy what we do. We just need to recognise that some people are good at some things, while some excel at others. Very few of us are excellent at everything. So when it comes to our businesses, just remember that we can’t all be experts at everything that needs doing to make a successful business.
What does that mean in practice?
Well, it’s simply this – do what you do and do it well. Then, if you need other things done, either learn those things and do those well too, or find an expert to take care of them. Sometimes it is difficult to see exactly where you should be heading, at other times you know where you need to go but are not clear on how to get there. Sometimes, we just know something is wrong but have no clear idea what. These are the times when, if getting clarify is not your strength, you should get an expert to do it for you.
My expertise is in getting things done
I can see things with a fresh perspective – look past all the day-to-day details and "see the wood for the trees". I can help you to see where you need to be heading. Then, if you are under pressure, or if changing things is not your specialty, I can work with you to make sure you get to where you need to be in your business. Then I’m gone – no ongoing costs to pay – I simply work with you to identify the changes required and make sure they happen, then you get on with running your business.
What to do next
If you would like some help to get over something you are facing, get in touch. We can talk about your situation and decide how I can help. If not, I’ll try to help you find someone else who can help. Do it now – make contact. Keep moving forward.
