About

Neil has worked in the IT industry for 25 years.  He started life as a developer and progressed through designer, salesperson, business analyst and project manager.  He has worked in commercial business, insurance and financial services in the UK, Europe, the Middle East and the USA.

He has always been interested in alternative solutions to peoples’ problems – stress especially – and in 2000 trained as a masseur.  Since then he has gone on to quality as a Reflexologist and Sports Massage and Sports Injuries specialist.

This is quite a detour from IT but has given him a unique perspective on stress in the workplace, especially in big business in global cities. Now, his interests are twofold:

  • Helping people to build successful businesses
  • Helping them to manage life and the stress of daily business and home

Business

Change is a constant and whenever change happens, there is a project to bring about that change.  It could be technology change such as putting in a new computer system, or it could be business change such as setting up a new business.  Managing change – and therefore managing projects – is vital for business.

For a project to be successful, the objectives must be clearly defined, all involved must be certain of the parts they will play and progress must be monitored.  How do you manage projects?

Neil is an expert at managing change – defining what needs to be done, how best to achieve that change and ensuring that all the pieces fit together so that the change happens smoothly and completely.

Sometimes you get to the point where you just can’t see the wood for the trees and confusion reigns.  Neil can help by taking stock and putting a simple plan in place to get you moving  forwards again.
